I was recently at an outrigger race event and saw this cool/portable cot tent. Not only did it provide its owner a break from the elements but it also provided a place to change and some privacy while trying to get a nap. Another great feature of the Kamp-Rite Tent Cot ($128) is that it keeps you 11-inches off the ground so you get less critters and bugs. It folds down to 33″x30″x6″ at 18-lbs and opens up to 84″x28″x24″ and can support up to 300-lbs. There are also many other version from compact to oversize here.
This model now comes standard with a 3/8″ foam pad for added comfort and insulation against the elements.
